My daughter is full of spunk and varied interest, so for her third birthday party she wanted it to be superhero themed! At the time, there were minimal party supplies online for girl superhero parties, so I had to get creative with the color scheme and decorations, making about 90% of everything myself….on a budget.
Party was at our neighborhood park, which was a perfect location for 15 kids under the age of 7 to run and play!
One of my favorite projects was the invitation and thank you cards.
Park tables were decorated in blue, magenta and yellow tablecloths. Desserts were kept simple…cupcakes, cake pops and chocolate dipped pretzels. Another favorite project were the cupcake decorations made in Microsoft Word and taped to toothpicks.
I made masks for all the kids out of glittered foam sheets from Hobby Lobby and capes out of tablecloths so the colors would match. Since the party was at our park, the favors were kites and bubble wands!
This party was a lot of work because of the details but so much fun and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
